Necessary Information Before a Building Permit Will Be Issued.

(May not apply to all municipalities.)

      FOR NEW HOMES ONLY;

1.       2 plats* of survey or plot plans showing distances to lot lines and other buildings.

2.       2 copies* of an Erosion Control Plan.

3.       2 sets* of building plans.

4.       2 copies* of energy work sheet (heat loss calculations).

5.       Copy of sanitary permit (if applicable).

6.       Completed UDC application*, including contractors certification numbers and phone numbers. Include the estimated cost.

7.       Signed cautionary statement* if home owner is requesting permit. (On back of application.)

  *One copy will be returned to you with your permit
